A small derelict site located adjacent the West Richmond train station provided the perfect opportunity to investigate the potential of a car free development. The result is a 5 townhouse development, each with 2 bedrooms and a ride-in bike store, accessed from the rear lane. It is envisaged that the high level design, along with the increased pedestrian traffic and observation to the railway reserve and existing public walkway, from which the townhouses are to be accessed, will enliven an otherwise dull, unattractive and undesirable public space.
